What's the best way to round corners on my side panels...especially the dramatic curves up by the marquee?  Sand paper  :-[?

i first drew the lines out with a compass, made a jig to fit my router, used an 1 1/2" plunge bore bit for my router, the sanded it.

Here are some options

1) Use router or Roto Zip and jig or guide as mentioned above.

2) Use a jig saw to cut close to the line of the curve and the a power sander to sand down to the line. A belt sander or contour sander would be best.  A  palm or orbital sander would have trouble with the inside curves.

3) Anything else would probably be too much work to consider.

Easiest way is to draw your curves on your panels then sand the corners by hand, it takes a little longer than using power tools but you shouldn't end up making any mistakes.
