  • This is your brain on games.
I am now trying to create a layed cp in illistrator and I tried to use the templates from Saint's book but they do not size correctly, Does anyone have a fix for this?
I know I'm doing something stupid and it's probally a simple fix, but I am new to illistrator and now want to pull my hair out as I don't know what to do.
Thanks.

when you resize the templates, you can hol dthe SHIFT key.
This will force to keep the height/width ratio.

I hope this is what you're looking for...

Thanks Jay that helps,

Is there any other way to resize Saint's templates so when they import into illustrator they are imported at the correct proportions / measurements or  is Jay's method the only one?

import the template without worrying about the size.

select all (ctrl-A)

then 2 ways of doing the stuff. 1 precise, the other not :D

1) hit shift F8 (this will open the transform window)

you can select the size you want precisely, if you click on the litte chain, the modification will be forced to height/width ratio

2) either select in the object menu the submenu transform and then scalling (not sure of the names) see pic attached it is french but menus are locate the same way :D

it will open a window that allows you to resize the selection by the % you want.

hope it helps

I'm on the planning stage
