So I was looking for reviews on SlikStik vs Mameroom and found this thread. I was initially relieved that I hadn't sent any money to SlikStik since it was clear that they were ripping people off. ...
he is in a difficult situation right now trying to clean up the mess left by SlikStik, so I decided I would rather do business with Mameroom since they are more stable at the moment.
So you've
benefited from reading this thread, right ??

You've gained the knowledge that it's safer to steer clear of SlikStik, and order with Mameroom instead.
How about a little gratitude towards Fozzy, FrizzleFried, and the rest of the guys who've given their time for free, to post in this thread and give you the full picture about SlikStik ??

If it wasn't for this thread,
you'd be screwed, waiting at the end of a long line of customers dudded of their cash by SlikStik.
A little gratitude wouldn't go astray.
As for Christian bearing no responsibility for the functioning of SlikStik's business operations, I'm sorry, but that's an incredibly naive point of view.

... but we'll let it pass, given you're a newbie. If you had been viewing Christian's posts in these forums over the years, you would know otherwise.

I spoke to Christian (Chris) for over an hour about all kinds of stuff.
Did he chat with you about the weather, how Singapore's his favourite travel destination, what a great time he had shopping on Orchard Road, etc ??
Be careful, he has a legendary reputation of being a smooth talker.

I don't think anyone here truly believes Scott is "colluding" with anyone to "rob" anyone...lets get that straight.
Absolutely not.
Scott maintains a well-earned reputation as an honest broker.

Scott sidetracked the discussion his way, through his new business relationship with Christian, and his strident (and at times aggressive) defence of him in this thread.
But even then, no-one suggested Scott was up to anything untoward.
The question was simply regarding the "nature and depth" of Scott's new business relationship with Christian.
Given Christian's woeful track record, customers have a right to know if he has any "fingers in the pie" of the orders they place with other companies.
Christian is the man producing the panels for Mameroom (whose orders are shipped from SlikStik's address in Nutley, NJ), so one has to wonder whether ordering panels from Mameroom will be a reliable and risk-free option in the long term. Christian will CONTINUE to be a cog in the works, despite Scott's best intentions.
However, Scott has given his word that he'll personally complete any panels (if ordered through Mameroom) that Christian fails to produce, which is a good thing.
Unless Scott has anything else to add, the discussion has now returned to the original issues, which remain relevant as ever, being :
** SlikStik's non-fulfillment of orders, for which payment has been received "long ago".
** SlikStik's non-payment of other debts ... such as the advertising revenue they've failed to pay Kev Steele, for ad's that appeared in Retroblast.
** Christian's level of involvement in all of this ... subject to debate.
** Legal investigations (by government authorities) that continue into SlikStik, and the people behind it ...
... such as the investigation by the Attorneys General, and the BBB :
Guys, I finally joined this forum for one reason:
