I have used those kinds of switches in several applications on my job, so this is what I came up with, using those type of industrial switches.
Is it anything like your setup?

I think your diagram is on the money. I blew a number of fuses till I got it right. Treating the switch a 2 separate switches and jumpering both + and - to both sides was the key. I'm glad this was only low voltage DC. I wouldn't have the nerve to mess with AC. Thanks for the diagram.

You are quite welcome, my friend.
I didnt draw the lights in but they look like they would be wired to
CCW: Top right contact and right 3rd contact
CW: Right second contact and right bottom contact.
This circuit is basically the same as the one I drew using a DPDT switch.
The limits could be wired the same way.
But by using the diodes around the limit switches, it cuts down on some wires, and makes it look simpler.
I must say you did an excellent job, very neat wiring, I tend to get in a hurry and sorta overlook neatness. I can see that working with you guys, I need to up my neatness a little. (or a LOT).
 :)

I dont mean to drag this thread out even farther than I already have, but thought it might be good to mention that if you are reading this, you are probably interested in rotating your monitor.
Just in case you missed this post: (Thanks Koz!)

I highly suggest you read it.
It is a much better method, in MHO, than using relays, plus it gives an option of doing the rotating through software.
