Finished up my 4 player CP

Now for the wiring and setting up all the configuration type stuff. I still may ditch the 39" CRT and put in a hi def 40" TV.

Very nice.  Good work.  Joysticks not interfering with access to the trackball?

Not sure a hi-def TV will buy you anything with the classics, but I imagine you have something else in mind.

Do you have any games in mind for the 7 button player 3 and 4? Most of the four player games have only 3 buttons per player. I could only find 2 that use 4 per player.

I was thinking it would be nice to use this to play computer games, use the computer, cruise the net, watch movies, etc. as well as play the old arcade games. I am not sure what games will use all those buttons, but buttons are cheep and I have seen others that way so why not. I figure I may emulate some other systems that had 4 players and control pads with lots of buttons or something.

Nice machine psychohack and welcome to the forums (I assume you are new with only 7 posts, or maybe you lurk most of the time like I do!) What do you think of the Apache spinner? I love mine. I see by the Happ flight stick that you are a DOT fan like me. You have not only the perfect controls for that game but they are perfectly centered on your CP. Maybe it's your favorite game? For push-pull the Apache is the only way to go. And it kicks butt on regular spinner games too. P.S. I say keep the CRT, it looks great and is more "classic." Replace it with a hi-def when it dies...

Eric.
