I'm hoping somebody out there has scanned in the marquee and side art... converted it to .ai so it can be repro'd.

IIRC there has been no dedicated cab for Galaga'88. There were only stickers and the marquee. It should be no problem to vectorize the logo....I'll start to search for good pictures to start with   If you have any hires-pics I could use....let me know.

Almost finished with the logo.....there's a little problem with Corel. It doesn't fill when two curves of one object overlap (can be seen at the 'G'). The colors change when I export it from Corel Draw to JPG 

Is that ok for you so far?

With Google picture-search I found the link to the following file

I used this in Corel Draw to draw the logo.

As I said....there's a little problem with the G. As soon as I have solved that I'll let you know.

Do you also need the falling color-dots on the marquee or just the logo?

Thats the same place I was rooting around for stuff... Unfortunately I'm not that good to be able to take a crappy jpg and extract/draw something good from it.

Ultimately I would like to repro the Marquee, Side Art and CPO...  so yeah the background would be great.

I still have a friend who has purchased the marquee... so I will scan that in and get a better quality pic for you when it gets here (if that saves you any time/effort).   We are also in the hunt for the CPO... that may be a bit more difficult.

Yes, that would be a great help for checking if everything is ok (or was not visible on the crappy JPG) and for the background (the falling drops). I started with them and I think they look good and will make the job......I hope AI can handle the transparancy from Corel Draw...I guess I'll have to check that out before uploading the file.

Concerning the CPO: you are right. I didn't even find a bad bitmap of it

Bumping this thread again... because I found a NOS piece of Side Art which i purchased, and scanned it at 400dpi... if anyone wants to clean it i stitched it:
