I did some research on the video Randy made and followed the arguing back and forth and was lost at the end.  My question:  If I'm using Freebox from Barcrest and want to have rgb's responding to the music, and possibly an attract mode when not playing music, can I make this happen with an LEDWiz?  I never saw where the connection was made between the LEDWiz using the sound and how it was implemented.  I think this would be the ultimate way to light up my jukebox project and I'm anxiously awaiting your thoughts.

I am doing a jukebox with Wincab and have the same question about the LED-WIZ.  :)

So how does the LED-Wiz connect to the PC? LEt me know that and i'll see what i can do but don't hold your breath.. I would have to code some sound to light routines and everything. However it would be a cheap option for those wanting sound to light i suppose.

This has been mentioned before using a microphone, but that idea was shot down.

Are you talking about reading the music and doing a WMPesque visualization all through software?  That would be a pretty sweet idea and a whole new use for an ledwiz.

That is more promising than anything I have seen in the past.  Its an old topic so maybe it can get some play as ledwiz's are more popular than ever.

Score, I knew bumping the old one and begging him would work.  Never complain until you ask.
