Octagonal restrictors are currently in production for the UltraStik 360 for those who like a shorter throw. The injection molds have already been made, just waiting for actual molding.

How short?

I get a % on those right? ;) The sad thing is my cab is still waiting for paint so you'll have the real thing ready to order before I've had much wear and tear on my hacked ones.
Yes, 100% hehe.

The octagonal restrictors measure 20mm across at the widest point. The regular round ones 22mm. For an exact angular measurement I will need to wait until they arrive unfortunately.

I received an email today asking why I did not name the UltraStik 360s a 4294967296-way stick as thats what they are! Well to be more accurate thats what they are "internally" before scaling and mapping. When sending to the PC they are a 65536-way stick.

That's all I needed to know, Andy, thanks. And, not all permutations are non-trivial.

That's from "corner" to "corner" right? Because the shaft won't go all the way into the corner, the diameter will meet resistance before that. So it's going to be effectively even shorter of a throw.

Are these based off of the ones I used for my hack or your own dimensions?

All, right I'll get these 49 ways whenever they are available. For now I suppose I'll get some Super Joysticks to tide me over. Just wondering though, once I cut out the base for the Super Joystick, will these new 49 way sticks also be able to fit into the same base or will they be different?
