GO7 Blurry Monitor issue

I have a 19" Electrohome GO7.  When I turn it on it takes 20 mins to "warm up" before the picture becomes clear.  I have done a full Bob Roberts repair kit, (cap kit, replaced flyback, transitor, and fueses) still no change.  When I first bought it it was having this issue, I capped it and it fixed it right up.  The picture and color was perfect.  Then after a month of using it, I turn it on and its right back to being blurry again, this is when I recaped and did the Bob kit but didnt fix it.  Any other suggestions?  I have tried to reflow just about everything on the chassis as well.

perhaps the tube is dying

You could have one of two problems:

1. The flyback (especially if original) may be going bad.

2. The picture tube needs rejuvenation.

I think you're totally screwed... set it on the curb and be done with it.   

Have you reflowed all joints on the neck board as well?
Have you measured the heater voltage on the neck board?

Possibly the tube dying as mentioned.
(good time for a tube swap project maybe)

I got my hands on another GO7 chassis and intalled it to my tube....and it works great! problem is, that chassis isnt mine   So I need to figure out what on my chassis is wrong?  I also noticed that when I discharged the "other" chassis after testing it there is alot of voltage discharged, when I discharge my chassis I never hear a snap at all.  So what can cause a monitor to be blurry that isnt changed out on a normal cap kit and flyback change?

Sounds like a power issue of sorts.
Have you measured the B+ voltage on your chassis?

I got 118V at the big white resistor, adjusted it to 120v. Still blurry   What would be the next thing to check?  I was thinking about replacing the large cap, its like a 680uf 200v, do you think that could be the issue?

Blurry picture ..... usually its flyback problem .....

Already replaced the flyback, but I will go back and make sure Im getting good connections...

do you get the exact same fault that you had before the cap kit and flyback change or is the fault different

thats what i was thinking at first(reversed leads),now i am learning towards a broken trace somewhere

Yes, there is, Im gonna resolder it at the pot and see if that helps..

I've seen instances where the picture tube socket on the neckboard was either corroded internally on the socket pins or the focus wire where it's soldered inside the tube socket has got bad solder.
