I've been contemplating the build of a Jukebox for a couple months and was set on a Wall mount design, until Welshmark's new project inspired me. His project is coming along very nicely:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=67867.new;topicseen#newWhile on vacation and driving almost 18 hours, I had plenty of time to think about it. I spent a couple hours messing with Google SkecthUp and designed this:

I played with some measurements and I like a height of 56" and width of 30", the control panel will be 4" or 6" (I want to order some buttons and try a couple configurations before I commit). The monitor will be a 17" flat panel. I bought a klipsch 3.1 off of ebay a month ago for the project and will install the bass/amp in the bottom of the cab (the black hole at the bottom front, you see in the design). I'll be replacing the satelite speakers with Jenson 6 1/2" 3-ways. They sound great and are blue too. Instead of T-Moulding I plan to route a groove around the edge and install the flexible light tubing (the name escapes me now) and install it on the front, with sound activation. The blue disc in the center will be a blue plasma lumin disc. On the right side I'll mount a DVD burner, USB connection, I-Pod hookup (a cool benefit of the Klipsch system, I-Pod jack built-in), and head-phone jack. The volume and bass adjustments will be installed on the front, next to the coin-slot/credit button (to the right of the screen in the picture). The back of the cab will have a large door, very similar to Welskmark's, for easy access to the good-stuff. I already have a de-cased PC, setup and ready for installation (3.2 ghz, 2 HDDs, 80g & 500g (I have almost 400g of music now). A keyboard w/builtin mouse will connect to the USB port on the side, when needed.
I plan on Wincab as my primary Juke SW, but I also have a couple others installed. I also want to be able to play some music videos (I've collected a few of my favorites, new Dukes of Hazard, Hot for Teacher, etc)
I plan to start the wood-work later this month.
I'd appreciate any comments / suggestions / improvements, before I begin.

This is a great site and people are very encouraging and helpful. This will be a great companion to my MAME Cab (I plan to build a new CP for it later this year and replace the marque (Winter project).
