I bought and built one of these. Now that it is done I am very happy with how it turned out. However there are a few things that need to be improved.
The manual really only tells you how to assemble the box. There is nothing about how to mount the monitor, where, to buy parts, etc. Once I got the manual for the build it yourself plans I was able to put the pieces together. One problem was this manual indicated a 15 " screen which I bought when I was getting my parts together. In reality a 15" screen is too small for the monitor opening.
Also things are very tight as far as mounting in this box. If I built one myself from scratch I would definitely bump up the dimensions a little bit.
Not that they claim differently, but the buyer needs to be aware that you are getting materials and instructions to put the cab together and that is it. There is a parts list on the other manual, but as far as sources most of them are pretty generic, "computer store" "craft store"
As far as the number of buttons being overkill they are pretty cheap to buy. Better to have a few extra that a program down the road needs.
