Any soldering needed with connecter crimps?

Basically what it says. Do connecter crimps still need to be soldered to the pins on a microswitch?

If you are talking about those Female Quick Disconnects, then no. But depending on how you crimp them, its possible for the insertion part to open slightly causing the connector to not get good contact and can slip off. Easily fixed by bending the connector back carefully with pliers.

Not if you do it right, and use the correct size terminal.

The whole idea behind them being a crimp connector is that you don't have to solder them.

It's kinda like asking if you have to lick the back of a self-adhesive stamp.

Once you're a reasonable solderer, it takes about the same amount of time to crimp as it does to solder.  Maybe less if you're doing a lot of them at once.
