In N.C. there is a famous road called "The Tail of The Dragon".  It makes 318 turns in 11 miles.  It is a destination for bike and car clubs everywhere.

The delorean club went there a couple years ago.  They wrecked at least 1 delorean.

I have ALWAYS wanted to ride/drive the Tail of the Dragon

Yeah, the lower half of VA is like that, too.

Cant wait for the Electric cars to be affordable.  The acceleration
abilities on those is mostly only limited by battery power/life.   Lightweight
materials will also help too.

That would be a really cool thing to eventually do with my project cars.  Convert them to electric.  Probably will become a necessity eventually.

I somewhat agree with HC here... I'm totally indifferent to performance cars.  Give me a good automatic 4 cylinder and I'm cool.

A truck and sheets of MDF are quite the brain teasers too ;)

My girlfriend said she'd buy me anything under $40k. I thought an LS like my brother's, or perhaps the later model of it, would be nice. My brother said instead of spending all that cash, he'd sell me his for five grand. My girlfriend likes to avoid possible repairs on older cars, though.

So she's not aware that you find her smelly....

Quite the reverse. She doesn't wear anything around me. They either get trained or they don't stick around. Actually, my first love wore decent natural oils - you could actually ingest them - but it's been so long I don't know if that'd be okay anymore.

His first love also had a love for all natural clothing... in fact, she was so attached to wool you had to shear it off or she got all heavy and fell over when wet.

It appears you're experiencing some personal growth this time around.  You're trying to converse more, at times you're even dropping the pretentious palaver, and I see you trying to make wit' da jokes (failing miserably, but hey, if ya wanna make an omelette, ya gotta break some eggs, right?).

There MIGHT be hope for you yet.  Don't get all giddy and start stammering as if a smelly girl is actually talking to you, just relax.

Here's to hoping you don't blow everything by trying to prove just HOW much you've grown

Quite the contrary.  His tummy gets to feeling funny around Cheffo.

My posts are relevant in that they are directed at his own comments and the apparent inability to keep track of what he's prattled on about.  I believe it was appearing as if he was taking his meds regularly, so either he WASN'T, or his tummy gets to feeling funny around me when he knows I'm right, but can't stand the thought of someone so detestable finding out his secrets, and sex talk is his personal Pepto Bismol :dunno

Drew -- you missed the point.

shorty made a sentence!  :applaud:

A real sentence ... with words, punctuation and meaning!

It didn't run on (as he tends to). It didn't split infinitives or mix tenses or subjects. It contained real words and used them properly.

Granted it was only 4 words, but he could have stretched it to 5.

shorty -- if you keep working hard through the summer, I think that we could have you writing at a second grade level by the time the new school year rolls around!

Keep up the good work!

You're sloppy this morning, love. There is the notion that you and drew, whether subconsciously, are envious and yet perhaps a little offended by my ability to be so candid as well as shamelessly disregard social moores. Sorta like s'moores. HEH HEH HEH HEH.

my ability to be so candid as well as shamelessly disregard social moores.

An admitted knowledge of anti-social behavior, and rationalization that equates in your mind to "candid".  Gotcha.

Oh, and it's "mores", Einstein.  Try to be pretentious with people who aren't aware you're full of yourself.  They'll be dumber than the crowd around here who, thanks to you, know about how high you can stack crap. :laugh2:

I'll answer to that if you wish. Um, I typed it...then re-typed it...wasn't sure....---fudgesicle--- it, go with the original. As it's a word I use hardly ---smurfing--- ever, it's gradually fading from my 'working vocabulary', as is the memory of its spelling. Even the treat reference was no help, and no surprise as I haven't had them for probly 20 or more years.

And, you're just a glutton for attention.

This, from the guy who readily admits he's just throwing out words he rarely uses in an effort to impress.  Color me underwhelmed.

Say, is "glutton" another of those you "rarely use" but throw out there just to see if anyone raises an eyebrow?  Bet that one gets all the ladies hot....as if you cared :laugh2:

One of my buddies has a show champion '74 Nova that he does not allow ANYONE to sit in the passenger seat - not even his girlfriend.

Sounds like a knobhead to me.

Nothing wrong with that. if i had the cash I'd have a garage built right next to the master bedroom so i could sleep right next to the car at nights so i knew it was safe.  ;D
