Free Macintosh Plus
« on: May 24, 2007, 03:31:22 pm »
I have a working Macintosh Plus with the backpack on it...the backpack being the 25mb hardrive addon woohoo. I'll give it to whoever will pick it up...just doing some spring cleaning and basically it just sits there. I have no software for it and I was never really into Macintosh so if you want it for nostalgia then it's yours.

Could you possibly ship it?  I would pay all charges of course.

Dude, a Mac Plus!  Save yourself some time, fill it up with cement and use it as a boat anchor.  I had to replace the internal 400k floppy for a Mac (system 1) and it cost about $100, and that was 15yrs+ ago.

its pretty neat and awesome you're giving it away.
if I was local I'd snag it up for nostalgia
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Some people collect things like that. If it was broken I'd say the same but everything on it works. I've seen some people use them for computer mods. There's even instructions on how to hook the original monochrome monitor to a dvi connector.

In keeping with the spirit of this site you could always hack it into a fishtank like some of these.
