Problem with text reflowing in threads

I don't know if anyone else has run into this, but I've ran into a couple threads lately where the text doesn't reflow to fit the window.It just pops up with a scroll bar at the bottom. It also seems that the text is shifted over to the right from where it should be. I'm on a Mac, but this behavior has occured in Safari, Firefox, and Netscape. It seems kind of crazy that I have to scroll to read it when I'm using a 21" monitor at 1280 x 960. In this instance, I'm 2 out of 3 people posting. Is there something I did wrong to confuse the forum software?

You posted a long link. They don't break/wrap. Try enclosing them in the URL tags.

Using tinyurl on forums kinda sucks IMHO...  At some point the tinyurl expires and if someone comes across the thread after that time they'll get a dead link.
