Those cabinets are great, and i don't know why anyone is giving you crap. It's an outstanding deal, and if you're still doing this, I'll recommend you next time someone wants to buy my cab.
Thanks! I appreciate the comment.
I ended up putting the blue one on ebay for $899. No takers! I did trade the yellow one to a guy for several cabinets which may or may not of been a good deal but hey this is a hobby and for me it is more about collecting/restoring/building cabinets then it is making money...for now at least. Eventually the boss will make me support myself, hence selling these cabinets so cheap.
The guy that got the yellow one seemed genuinely impressed and he has owned lots of cabinets. It helps to be able to see them in person and play them and hear them and smell them...mmmmmmm.
I have been building my workshop and hadn't had much time for anything arcade but I got an order for a custom upright a guy wants me to build so I will probably end up doing 2 or 3 more at that time and plan on going a little different route including using Arcade monitors.
I have debated on using a multi-jamma board but am not convinced thats the way to go. Sure for these people wanting to bastardize a jamma cabinet go ahead but these are new builds why not use the best solution which for me is a quality PC and controls and a nice monitor...PC or Arcade. Both are acceptable..The arcade monitor being easier to work with. Still need to finess the Linux OS I plan on using with SDLMame and wahcade.
