coin slots
« on: April 05, 2007, 05:39:32 pm »
Hi Guys,

Building a cab for a mate for his birthday. I have just purchased a coin slot for his cab. I know some games
require two for two players games? If so can you configure those games in mame to only use the one coin slot?

cheers

Phil

You could but that would add coins to both players at the same time on the games that matter.  Kinda like a two for one sale.  :laugh2:  In fact that might do it for all games.

Thanks Kaytrim,

Could you configure the games individually through the tab option in each game?

just a thought,
is it a 1player control panel you are making ie not two players simultaneously , then youd be limited to certain games which may have originally had a single coin slot but 1p and 2p starts, you put two coins in one slot and press 2p start ,get me.
someone with far more experience in mame may say this wont work or is not the case
