Haven't the Fathom playfields been sold out for a long time already?  People have been flipping them for nearly twice the original price.

Maybe what I saw was the Centaur fields. Shows what little I know about these repros.
I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

Hmmm.... I don't really have a white whale as far as cabs go because I'll just build a replica if I really want one.  My white whale is definitely a dedicated game room/home theater.  The house I live in isn't big enough for one and the basement is unfinishable (very low ceilings).  Whenever we decide to move, one of the conditions to buying a new place is that it has to have a HUGE basement that I can convert into an arcade/bar/home theater.

I envision a mini bar in a corner with arcade machines on a wall on one side and a shuffleboard table and a pool table in the middle of the floor and on the other side a huge HD projection screen with a curved leather couch that has recliner seats on the ends, maybe a popcorn cart in the corner.... framed movie posters on the wall, remote controlled lighting, etc.

I've had the plans laid out in my head for quite some time - I'm hoping I can get an unfinished basement that I can convert myself.  It will be expensive but it's really my onlu hobby - I don't like cars or anything that's really expensive to build/restore.

I think those are sold out, too, but there's an easy way to tell.  Fathom is very blue.  Centaur is very black.

Yeah - DOT Environmental and Star Wars cockpit cab...

Funny thing, I don't even like DOT as a game, but would love to have the cab...

Black Knight pinball.  Never had one of these in the comic store I worked at, so we were always skipping across to the arcade down the street to play.

Arcade-wise, Tron.

Funnily enough, as I thought about it, I'd rather have BK than Tron...

I would kill to get my hands on a Black Night pinball machine

One just sold on Ebay in really good condition for around $750. It was about 4 blocks away from my house.  ;D

On the white whale thing... DOT Environmental, Star Wars cockpit, X-Men 6 player (I love that huge ugly beast)

Starwars cockpit version or a Space Harrier w/ motion base.

A Cyclone or Comet pin in good shape would be great as well.  Hard to find one that hasn't been played half through the wood table.

Cab: Gravitar - Saw a near perfect (looking) one about half a year ago on ebay. But it was in Indiana.

Pin: Black Hole - About a month ago there was one for sale about 15 miles from me. I had the money for it, but I had been saving forever for my camera, so I kept to my goal. But there was wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I have a Black Knight. Got it on FreeCycle for free. I but free is not necessarily free. I have put probably 150 plus countless hours working on it. BTW, that was not a complaint at all, I have had a great time bring it back to life. Just looking for 1 plastic, a better back glass (mine is grody). Need to fix 1 audio issue, and 1 column of lighting. But the playfield is frakin' awesome and it plays great.

I want Pixelhugger's cab :P (when it's finished that is  :laugh2:)

Considering how much "Black Knight" there is here... if anyone's got one in western Canada they'd ever consider getting rid of, let me know...  Over on Vancouver Island, which always makes shipping soooo much fun...

If all you've put into a free Black Knight is $150, that's a pretty sweet deal.

nostrebor, there is a BYOAC member kicking around here that has a PinBot.  Pretty sweet one, too.

No doubt. But I forgot that I bought the back glass for $50, but still $200 isn't too bad. The BG is kinda sad. Someone spray painted the backside black. I am in no position to pay $300 for a good BG.

Are you saying it's for sale, or just sharing that a member has one?

I spent a vast amount of cash on PinBot $0.25 at a time, back in the day. I'd like to play a few million games on one in the comfort of my gameroom. I'll probably skip the quarters this go-around. ;)

I'm in the same spot.  Mine looks okay if you're not paying attention... but if you really look you notice that some ---smurfing--- idiot previous owner secured flaking paint with duct tape.  It's like the worst case solution.  I need a new bg badly too but won't drop the cash on it.  Mine is definitely a player, I'm waiting to see if Halifax repros BK playfields.  If they do, I go whole hog on reproing my pin... if not, it stays a beaten up but really well working example in my basement.

The biggest thing working against me is lack of space. So right now I'm trying to keep my list attainable. Currently on my short list:

Williams cab to convert to Shinobi - Just like I used to play.
Neo-Geo 4-slot or 6-slot. Great games, only one cab.
I'd love to get a pin someday, but the amount of work and money that I see going into these scares me.

I wonder how you identify an African Green Parrot as the one that was stolen. Maybe by it's vocabulary?Does it say "F*** the Nazis"?

The deluxe Afterburner was almost as cool as the deluxe OutRun.

Then again, maybe you're thinking of R360. You can buy one here for $18,500:
http://mysite.verizon.net/res8aiig/R360/R360.htm

If I had enough room for that, I'd probably convert my garage to Ridge Racer Full-Scale.

Yeah, I noticed a few nights ago some ---smurfing--- boob did the same thing with clear box tape to one side of an original glass Centipede Marquee I just obtained as part of a recent pickup.

At least clear box tape is transparent.  Better than not having the paint there anymore.

For my game room I have a pool / air hockey table, electronic dartboard and my FrankenMAME.  I guess that my white whales would be a ROBOTRON followed by a Sinistar sit down cab then maybe an Elvis Pinball.  I'd also like to replace the current pool table with a slate model and add a poker table top to it.

I'd settle for a Williams sextuplet of brand spanking new machines hot of the press to go with my Williams arcade classics CD. Or I'd even settle for the consolidated version.

Robotron
Defender
Startgate
Joust
Sinistar
Bubbles

I never understood why all the multiwilliams crap included Sinistar. It is a verticle game, while the rest are horizontal.  :dunno

Sinistar is also used a 49-way stick.  Not as good on a 8-way.

Ooooowwwwww how could I forget it in my White Whale dreamlist:

Samba D'Amigo !!!!!

http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=&game_id=9412

Was this ever shipped to Europe ?

Star Wars (Cockpit) seems to be another favorite. I think the side-art of the upright is a lot more impressive than that of the cockpit (why did they go with a different design?) but the cockpit of course is a great looking cab. What do others feel make this one stand out ? ANd a question to boot, is that Star Wars sign on the back lit-up like a marquee ?

Thanks....
