New button suggestion

May I suggest a button up in the BBC tags that adds the following?

It would make it much easier to plug the book as well as to give some of the newbies a pointer to the best method for learning this game.

I would wager that more people read signatures than read the buttons ...

Well that's why I suggested a button.  You don't expect them to read the button, you use the button to insert that text into a post, which would be read by them if they read anything at all.

Do you mean to tell me that people actually read things on this website? I was under the impression that we were all here to just look at the pictures.


Here is what I meant... What would be more effective than a new bbc tag, would be a simple link to the Buy and read. in your signature Chad.

Example:

Chad's Signature    1.8 brazillion hits per day.
BBC Tags                1.2 brazillion hits per day.

Chad's signature = More Exposure.

Don't get me wrong. Chad's idea is great. I would really like to see it happen. Maybe then  I too would Buy and read.

I think I need to defer to SirWoogie on how / if you can add bbc tags. Smilies are easy, but bbc code is hard coded...

It can definitely be done, but you may be right, it may require some trivial code changes.
