Blue T-Molding - is there anywhere that sells BRIGHT blue?
« on: January 29, 2007, 01:54:56 pm »
Hey all,

I need to get some T-molding for my project.  My pool table is black with "Euro Blue" felt, so I figured I would make my cab with the same color scheme, even if it seems to be the most common choice.  Anywho, All the T-molding I have found seems to be a sky blue or pale blue.  Is there anywhere out there to get more of an electric/neon blue?

I'm not sure what "electric/neon" blue is, but if you're thinking of a vivid cobalt color I don't know anyone who has something like that. T-molding.com has only two shades of blue--a darker blue (a touch lighter than indigo) and light blue (that looks like sky blue). And they have, I think, everything that is commonly available.

One of my electronic proffesors was once talking about standard electrical devices and said that they only come in certain variations, paused, then said that with enough money you can have anything made to your liking. Contact T-molding.com or whoever makes the molding and say you want a custom color. Might cost you an arm and a leg but hasn't this cabinet done so already? Besides, there's nothing moer fun and pompous than bragging about something you made with custom made parts just for you.  >:D

I think the "Deep Space Blue" that Randy sells would be the closest you'll get.  httP://www.groovygamegear.com

yeah, I mean like a "vivid cobalt" color, thats a great way to describe it.  The deep space blue is too dark.  I think I found something that is atleast close, but it doesnt seem that bright or vivid, and it could be a bad pic.  I wonder if they can send a sample?
