Mala background image question

I'm running mala 0.9.9 on my cab and have most of it set up but I'm struggling to get a background image to appear, does it have to be a certain size or file type?

I've read through mala's homepage and can't seem to find any info on it.

Where is the image located? If I remember correctly, it has to be inside a folder you created with the same name

Look at how the default image is displayed. Use the same naming conventions as it did - in relation to the name of the background, folder name, etc.

Sorry I can't be more helpful - I'm nowhere near my setup. I just remember having the same issues.
