I want to Build My Own Arcade Controls!!
Help/Suggestions for setting up controls

I am building mutliple Control Panels for my cab, and have a question. I want to put an Exit, Pause, and Restart Game button on the cab seperate from the removable CPs. I am using a mini-Pac from Ultimarc in each CP -- I am too lazy to use one in the cab itself and wire up a connector of some kind, and I am not so good at electrical stuff
So anyway, how can I connect these three buttons seperatly from the mini-Pac? And I need to make sure they do the correct things.

I would say to hack a keyboard... but you said you're not good at electrical stuff. Buy another mini-pac?? Personally, I would wire a connector and only use one mini-pac in the cabinet, but to each his own!

I bought the mini-Pac with the pre-made wiring harness, so would I cut the wires before the harness, attach them to some sort of connector, then route them back out to the harness? If so, what is a good connector type to use?

i hacked an old pc gamepad for my coinmechs, then used joy-to-key to make it work. but that would require some minor soldering
