Ah ok--I thought it was a case of real life getting in the way and the project stalling as a result--glad to hear its still progressing (albeit eventually)
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

I remember that bezel because I made one.  Many many many years ago I scanned my
original Berzerk bezel and cleaned it up for the MAME team and then submitted a high
resolution version later.  I also did the Venture bezel too.  I'll have to look through my
archive and see if I have the original scan.  Nice to see there is still an interest in the
restoration and development of Berzerk.

Since there is really bad chance to get a Berzerk cab here in Germany I'd like to turn a generic cab into a Berzerk. At localarcade is the cpo and the sideart.

What's missing is the bezel and marquee and they have to be modified for the size fo the generic cab.....would be great if the bezel work would be finished  :notworthy:   :applaud:

So any chance you still have the scan, or the or the high-res version?  What's holding it up right now is both scans I have are pretty rough.

No luck so far.  I'll probably have to re-scan it again.

[sigh]  :(

Is anybody in contact with Ad_Enuff and could ask him if there is a chance that thing will be finished some day??

Maybe he could share his work and somebody else (me) could try to finish it.....

If he wanted to, he would have given it to me by now.

If "sacolton" can find his scan, that will probably work out, as his looks a lot better.

Sacolton can't find his scan anymore...he will have to do a rescan in a shop and he wanted to see how much it costs.

Ad_enuff did a good job so far, it would be stupid if one had to do all that work again  :(

The bezel is complete and fully restored to its former glory!

Obviously the attached picture is only a small version and thumbnail of sorts. The one that will be added to MAME Artwork Project will be 4000 pixels wide with a resolution of 300dpi which is suitable for printing. However the scan I have at home in Photoshop still is even bigger, being 6000 pixels or something in that region.

I keep meaning to say, this is what the MAME Artwork project is all about. Bringing life back to old classic machines. Seeing this repro restoration, really makes me very happy seeing it restored.

 :applaud:

Even if I do say so myself!
