Ok I need some answers. he wont reply to my PMs. first he makes a thread about about selling his psp and says its a 1.5, I decide to buy it, I get it and its a 2.6 psp and the headphone is torn and only has left side.

ok so I ask for a refund and he writes a BS story to paypal and refuse to give me a refund. Here is the story he wrote to paypal. he dont mention anything about sending out the WRONG VERSION PSP. Basically what you did was false advertized your item, refuse to give me a refund, now you are playing dumb and writing BS stories to paypal. Here is what he sent to paypal.
"dear paypal, sold a working sony psp handheld system on byoab.com to a member which is the one im filing with, well, i sent out psp via usps priority mail, so he recived items and then emails me telling me that he wont be able to mod that sony psp, so asks for a refund, i told him i could not refund him the money unless the sony psp was broken which it wasen't, he complained about not being able to play emulated games and using pirated games on it, i never mentioned to him anything about using it for that purpose but only to be able to play it like it's meant to play with umd movies and umd psp games,not pirated games which is illeagle. i told him noway he had the right to ask for a refund for that purpose,now im stuck with this and he's been pm'ing me and threating me that "I WILL GIVE HIM A REFUND" so i really dont know what to say about it, therefore i leave it to you guys to do your job!!THANKS AGAIN PAYPAL.... I TRIED reasoning with the guy through PM he is not willing to do anything about the mistakes HE made on this transaction. He is the one sent a wrong version psp and a torn ear bud. I simply wanted a refund and he wont do it and expects me to ship it to him after what he did.

THEN I decide to go with the trusted 3rd party idea and guess what, he wont do that either. Basically there is nothing I can do(other than my last opitions..deal with it with my credit card company and file a charge back claim)

First off, I'm pretty sure it's Saint who makes decisions on bannings, I'd be careful about crossing that line.

Secondly, you took a mistake on the seller's part, that he was willing to correct (exactly the same way every other seller would have done it, and the way I've done similar things in the past-send me back the bad item, once I check and see that it was really a mistake and not a misunderstanding on your part, I send back the replacement-you as the buyer have PayPal on your side as long as you send it back with a tracking number, the seller has squat from them if they send you the second and you decide to keep both) and turned it into a character assassination attempt and blew things way out of proportion.

Thirdly, you ignored the third party suggestion until you tried to get PayPal to agree with you (which they didn't) and when that failed, THEN you tried to act like a reasonable person about it.

Sorry man, you went about this about as badly as possible. I agree with the people who wouldn't do buisness with you in the future, I know I'll be avoiding it personally.

Actually, that's where you are completely wrong. You send it back, if he doesn't send the 1.5 replacement, THEN you file with PayPal, show the tracking number and get your refund.

why should I agree with his terms ?? he sent the wrong item and I asked for a refund and an HONEST seller would have refunded the money and call it a day.

he didnt make a "mistake". he knew DAMN well the psp is a 2.6 AND he knew the headphone is torn in half and only has left side. but since he is a grade A scammer, he doesnt mention of that on this selling thread.

then he writes a BS unrelated story to paypal and gets away with it. this is what I call grade A scam at its best. I am surprised how you only see how I am jumping the gun and not the REASON. He could have simply issued a refund but he said "NO WAY I AM GIVING YOU A REFUND".

i understand how you feel, i wish it went another route myself but it didn't and there's nothing i can.. or wait there's nothing im not gonna do anymore about it, i almost got owned  by paypal and practically look bad here on byoab now... time will pass and this will end some day!

I understand both sides or at least I am pretty sure I do. I have been burned out of about $400 in the same manner that SNAAAKE imigines he will if he sends back the PSP. WIth the trust barrier and the unwillingness to go the route of a trusted 3rd party this will go no where.

SNAAAKE could file greviances with paypal, USPS (mail fraud), or the Internet FRAUD commitee.

If OC wants to prove to be the bigger man by sending SNAAAKE another PSP via trusted 3rd party or a coo-ordinated cross ship with both you guys sending tracking #'s / pics of reciepts etc... It would probably go a long ways in protecting the reputation that OC feels is being damaged by these threads.

Someone needs to suck it up and bend a little or else these threads will continue.

If you guys want to go the trusted 3rd party route I too will offer my services.

I honestly don't think im a bad person, god and i know it, i tried and tried and tried the first 3 days with you went out my way to get another psp to send you, you refused to send it first because i was supposably gonna rip you off and run like a dog from you, i sent you all my info my home number my address my zip code everything, and still you refused, all you had to do was say okay, im gonna send it back usps priority mail with delivery confermation for $6.50 total and when you recieve it send me my 1.5 one that you went out and got , then when it arrives and is in great shape i will leave you the good feedback, but no you wanted to be a snaake and try to go your way, you swore i was a theift, all you did was demand i pay this and pay that, you sounded like the seller should have sounded, but no there i was , trying to cooperate with you and get it straight, but then it all backfired on you and now i really dont feel bad for you, i hope that you next time ask questions instead of pm'ing me from nowhere and just say "ILL TAKE THE PSP AS LONG AS IT'S IN GOOD CONDITION AND PLS SEND THE 1GB CARD WITH NASTY VIDS AND MUSIC"i wish i knew how to post all your pm's on here from the time you asked for it to the time you received it, infact you did never ask anything about 1.5, i have all your pm's i can prove it....so that being said again i hope i dont get into this topic again... i hope!!!

again, you are LYING and making up stories. I never said anything about whats in the card. I did NOT pay you for whatever you had on your card. you are the one OFFERED either a new card or one with "things" on it and ask me if it was ok for you to leave them there and I said "sure whatever". once again, you fail at looking innocent. you are still a scammer and always will be.

I never PAID for the "nastay vids" so stop trying to make it look like I ASKED you for anything on that card. I paid for a 1.5 psp with charger,headphones,1gb card and I dont have to ASK you what version because someone already asked what version psp it was and you said "1.5 thanks". and you decide to send a 2.6 version. If there was ANY changes then you should have told me that before accepting payment and sending the PSP. something like "my thread says I am selling a 1.5 psp but its NOT a 1.5 and its  a 2.6 and a half assed earbud, do you still want it ?". Then you would be an honest seller but too bad you are not.

he doesnt wanna do anything..I wanted to do the cross shipping before I filed a complain through paypal.

I am STILL willing to do the trusted 3rd party thing but he wont agree on that term either. we can get rid of the threads since he is using these as "damage to his reputation" excuse. We can start fresh and do either cross ship or 3rd party. I wont even bother PMing him anymore. OC, if you are interested at all send me a PM.

The issue you have is that you didn't like his solution, and you ignored his offer time and time again, until it became apparent that Paypal wasn't going to do jack for you.

You continued to air your dirty laundry, as if by bullying him in public on the forums here, you'd get him to do your bidding the way YOU wanted it done, rather than the solution he immediately offered you.  You're BEYOND belief when telling us that you're holding a $200 piece of electronic equipment and that you got "ripped off".  A MISTAKE was made, nothing else.  You're being unreasonable in trying to twist a MISTAKE into something equating being "ripped off"

You continue to ignore the wishes of Saint, exhibiting an unreasonable view that you weren't through, and saint be damned, you're going to have your case heard in the court of public opinion, then, when the jury doesn't agree with you, you act as if everyone just can't understand what's going on.  You won't grasp this precisely BECAUSE you're being unreasonable, and getting further down that track with every post.

You're lucky you have a PSP in your hand at all, and at this point, you're damned lucky to not be given another 3-day vacation or outright banning yet again for acting as if Saint hasn't been fair in allowing you to publicly badmouth another board member for FAR too long.  You've had the case laid out for you, yet continue to harp on what ELSE is broken (and could have been solved along with the original offer).  Had you not become belligerent in the first place and been able to discern the difference between a mistake and a rip-off, you might have come to a resolution.  Now, if OC does ANYTHING more for you after the way you've acted, I've no doubt you'll try to retaliate in some way since you went off half-cocked, which is more than likely why he's unwilling to do ANYTHING more for you, and quite frankly, I don't believe there's many folks who blame him anymore.

I agree that you should just sell it. With a 1 gb mem card, you can get $200 back out of it. I totally understand your frustration with the seller. However, you did come out and start bashing him too early, especially since you admit he had said he would fix the situation. As another person on this site recently learned, don't go pissing off the person that sold the item. A true scammer would have hit the road laughing all the way to the bank. There are plenty more forums on the 'net for them to move on to.

Having said that, OC, you were in the wrong when you came to defend yourself. You DID clearly state the firmware of the psp in your sell thread. You also started bashing snaake because you were embarrassed for being called out. That is no way to respond when your rep is on the line...especially when you WERE in the wrong initially. Humility goes a long way my friend. The paypal email thing was plain wrong.

Long story short, you both have handled this badly. You need to let bygones be bygones, and complete a refund to buyer. Give him the damn refund, OC, and send the damn thing back, snaake. We all know this will never happen since you are both apparently kids (Your lack of proper grammar and punctuation just screams immaturity...especially in a situation like this).

This issue should DEFINITELY not still be on the boards. Hope you guys can work this out in PRIVATE.
