Just out of curiosity, are there any women arcade builders besides me? It's funny to read some of the guys talking about how "cool" their wives are because they are accepting of the arcade project. Well I'm actually building the arcade so does that make the the world's coolest wife? Someone tell my husband...

I gotta say, you're the first I've seen posting here (that has openly said they were female, at least), but then, I've only been here for a month or so-maybe one of the old timers has more insight.

Either way, welcome aboard-and good luck on convincing your husband-the spouse battle seems to be a never ending one, no matter which side of the gender line you sit on (this is one of those times when being divorced is considered a benefit-not that I'm saying you should be, but it works for me

)

With that said, there are 9516 members. If people put down their gender correctly that means that there are 9375 males and 141 females.

Glad to hear there are some other ladies around. It's amazing how much fun my girlfriends miss out on because they don't like games or computers.

Actually, my husband got me started with my video game addiction. He talked me into playing Doom before we were married and I've been hooked ever since.

He wasn't excited about the arcade idea at first, but now that he's played around with my prototype control panel, he's getting more into it.
