Slik-Stik spinner tops
« on: April 25, 2006, 03:07:50 pm »
I am going to buy RandyT's spinner but that top has got to go.  I would buy from Oscar if I could but, as is obvious, he is closed.

Can anyone tell me if Slik-Stik's polished silver spinner tops are in fact stainless steel?  I know the coloured tops are anodized aluminum.

If they are steel, I am wondering if the extra weight of the steel vs the aluminum top would make direction changes more difficult than would be the case with an aluminum top.

Thanks, spec

I originally bought the standard silver top, played around with it and exchanged it for a black standard only because black was better suited for my panel.  I wasn't observant enough to notice if the silver was steel or aluminum,(I want to say it was steel)  Regardless, I noticed 0 difference in weight or directional changes between the two.  Hope that helps.
