Is anyone doing anything to bust this guy? Or are you all too preoccupied with photoshop?
I don't get the reference, but the hamburgers one was funny.

Are you expecting the people who have absolutely no vested interest in this situation to do something OTHER than Photoshop pictures?  Because if you are, that's almost as naive as the folks who bought stuff from Harpal in the first place.

Surely you see the unrealistic expectations in getting people who have no money lost to this guy and live in a completely different country and no information on the guy other than his screen name here to actually be able to DO something OTHER than Photoshop pictures at Harpal's expense.

Oh, and if someone who got hosed by Harpal laughs even ONCE at any of these pics, those people HAVE done something.  They've given one of the victims some little stress relief.

I thought half the people who were doing the photoshopping were scammed by him. I didn't mean for people who weren't scammed to do something about it, I am referring to those who were. There's got to be a way to get some sort of info on this guy - maybe some uber leet ethical haxoring of his 'I love my girlfriend' site.

Sure the pics might make people laugh but does that get their money back? If it were me I would be in a happier mood to see my money. If everyone just makes a joke out of stuff like this then what's to stop harpal from doing it again? When someone's house gets robbed they call the police to try to get some sort of info that might help them find the criminal, not a clown to cheer them up.

Remember Henry Kissinger?

They wouldn't accept my application when I put my name down as Drew Kissmyass. ;D

Some folks just can't take a joke, first those U.N. types.......

If everyone just makes a joke out of stuff like this then what's to stop harpal from doing it again?

Naivete, thy name is D5A1AC.

Much like Harpal's idiotic "tell me you're sorry and I PROMISE I'll give you your money back ::) ", that statement is just as foolish.  Don't make fun of him or he might get away with it?  That's retarded.

Oh, and as for the dumb clown comment, I'll just speak as someone who had their house broken into, it certainly DOES help to joke about it afterwards.  Are my credentials good enough, or do you need my copy of the police report too?

Besides, if you'd been following this debacle AT ALL, you'd know that the FBI's best janitor/soda stocker/cafeteria worker is on the case and it's only a matter of time before Harpal's mopped to death or some similar grisly punishment.

Gees, I didn't think my posts were this easy to misinterpret.

"Don't make fun of him or he might get away with it?"
I never said not to make fun of him, but the photoshopping posts made it more difficult to extract info reguarding the actual problem at hand, and as I have already said once, I thought the people doing the photoshopping were scammed and I was surprised that they didn't appear to be working together to bust harpal. Hence my second comment.

"it certainly DOES help to joke about it afterwards."
That's great, but judging by your offer of the police report, some attempt at catching the robber was made before the jokes.

"it's only a matter of time before Harpal's mopped to death"
Ok, good. I suppose we aren't really arguing about much then.

As it's been attempted here as well.  Go back in whichever of these now-nonsensical threads its in and notice the advice given, the information shared, the people already working on it, blah blah ad nauseum blah.

That's why it's just retarditty to be talking about how these pics are in some way slowing down progress to catch the bad guy.

I also believe the lo-jack put into the FBI mop sent to Harpal in trade for the $30 Xbox will lead to their crack crime-solver adding yet another notch to his janitor cart

Well, I DID get a refund, NOT a PAYPAL refund, but a REFUND from the --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules-- Himself!  I am still hoping he will refund everyone else.  Harpal told me he did not like the police pressure he was receiving, i guess i am a good "FBI's best janitor/soda stocker/cafeteria worker"  Also he is being investigated in the UK, I did contact the authorties in his area, I spoke DIRECTLY to a LT. there and was told they know nothing of a warehouse break in or anything of the sort.  The address given by Harpal really does not exist even though is shows up on google earth, it is not the actual address of anything.  So i can say that i have been here since the start of these threads, and have even been hammered a bit in these threads, and i do agree that laughing about it does help the situation out FOR ME.  I can also tell you that I did what i could and i still hold out hope that everyone gets refunded soon.  Harpal is an IDIOT, and a con-man NO DOUBT!
