btw, you don't have to hack your keyboard.
found on several site's a keyboard emulator
(i think its just a keyboard chip) with connect options for separate switches (buttons)
this would be easyer than hacking a keyboard (i think ?)

looks like you have to get rid of your keyboard(get it out of sight),and use songselection in another way
i added some switches to my cabinet (and soulderd them to the keyboard ) and hid the keyboard
in this way it also not possible to shut down the jukebox (no keyboard!)
you can see this in pict2 and pict3 the keyboard is attached to a folding panel whitch in normal state only allows you to use the selection-buttons(prev.alpha,a,b,c,d,next alpha
prev.page,1,2,3,4,next page)
so i use 12 buttons to make a selection

oooops!!!....what does relay means?

a relais is an elktr. component
it is a switch which is operated (switches) when power is suplied to the spool (i think it is named ?)
oops, looked around i misspelled the word it's: relays
surch yahoo for it

that are relays, switches operated when power is aplied

i mean.. if want to connect coin selector
by lpt "printer port", what should i write here:
JOY1_UP = BTN_PREVPG
JOY1_DOWN = BTN_NEXTPG
JOY1_LEFT = BTN_FIRSTPG
JOY1_RIGHT = BTN_LASTPG
JOY1_BUTTON1 = BTN_1
JOY1_BUTTON2 = BTN_2
JOY1_BUTTON3 = BTN_3
JOY1_BUTTON4 = BTN_4
JOY1_BUTTON5 = BTN_SELECT
thats the way i found today to connect
coin selector, and when i insert the coin
it has signal, in the program "ppjoy"
but when i scan for signal it shows me
the signal as "Digital 15"
i think is the name of the pin, or something
but how can i program that in wincab?

looks like your coincollector acts as button1
so change:
JOY1_BUTTON1 = BTN_1
to :
JOY1_BUTTON1 = BTN_COIN1
i think this wil work (make sure the "joystick "you use is joy1 )
to everyone : if i'm telling it te wrong way please feel free to correct me
