to send a credit signal to wincab?
i have "Weiya HI06CS" electronic coin selector
and it works selects the coins, and send them to
a box where i stored, but i cant find a way
to send a signal to wincab,
did you know wich cable, and where
i should solder on the keyboard circuit?
and the what should i do in wincab
gabypotter:
sorry about my english!
jp:
your coincollecter should sent out a contact wich should be connected to the keyboard symbol selected in "controls.ini" standard "0" for btn_coin1,"9" for button_coin2
this means yoy have to open your keyboard and connect wire's to the coresponding switch
hope this helps
gabypotter:
thank you! ;)
...but can you tell me how can i connect
coin signal wire by hacking a keyboard,
cause coin signal has only 1 wire, and
i think i need 2 wires to make contact and
send a signal to wincab, that is the part
where i'm stuck
how many cables should i connect?
and how?
sorry but im very frustated ???
and i don
jp:
your coin collector should have two wires, haven't seen it but i think one wire is the ground (metal housing).(by using a multimeter you can find out).
by hacking your keyboard you have to find out which contact you need
you could connect the wires strait to a keyboard-symbol (ie "0" )
this means open keyboard find the switch that gives the "0" and connect the wires
then in "controls.ini" give "btn_coin1" the value of the switch ( "0" )
(if it is "0" than "btn_coin1" already has this value)
