Broken
   1. To fracture a bone of: I broke my leg.
   2. To fracture (a bone): I broke my femur.

Bones

   2. Any of numerous anatomically distinct structures making up the skeleton of a vertebrate animal. There are more than 200 different bones in the human body.

In 1997 I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail (AT) from Gerogia to Maine.  It took six months and was 2,165 miles in length that year.  For those of you who do not know what the AT here is a link to a site that has alot of information: http://www.fred.net/kathy/at.html

I used to have the nick badmonkey (I used to call my daughter a bad little monkey, and she became lil' monkey when I referred to her online, while I was badmonkey) everywhere I went, but it became more increasingly unavailable as the net became more increasingly populated.

When I registered at IGN it was taken, so I just looked around on my desk for something to enter in real quick, as it was just a tosser that I didn't really need to associate with anyway, since I was only registering to do a couple things then leave.

Well...

I never left, and it became one of my first stops any time I went to my computer, so it became my permanent handle just about everywhere, and I have only found it taken once (and I'm not really sure it was taken by someone else, as I probably registered it myself with old information and forgot the details :) ).

Anyway...

I guess not too many other people out there choose to go around the net named after a battery from a flashlight. :)

I got mine when I used to play Frontier on the amiga.

Started off saving games using boss, then bosss, bosss1 etc.

For some reason I stopped on bosss7.

It means nothing in the scheme of things.
Now in a tasty new flavour.

I've had this nic (which is my name, my birth year inverted and a zero) since '99...  I registered it with the webtv I was using at the time and just kept it with everything I've used since....

I've been called Zakk since my cover-band-days.  I was a long haired shredder who covered a lot of Ozzy you see.  Now my youngest is named that, so I have to call him 'Junior'.

I came up with my name because in college I had a couple really geeky friends who liked to call each other by the name they used online.  I always found this to be incredibly stupid so I came up with a name that has my real name in it.  My real name is Adam, pronounced similar enough to Atom, unfortunately they started calling me smasher ....

That's just for appearances.  We get together for a few Buzz Beer's and laugh and laugh about that.  Good to know the rumor is believable though.  I'll pass that along next time I see him.  Oswald is gonna want to kick yer ass, but I'll do what I can.

You're just mad that Mrs Bones and I sent that video to Drew!

When you were trying to get in my pants, you said I was a sweet wholesome girl, but the minute any woman with an ounce of sense tells you no you label them a ---stingray---!

Mrs Bones was right about your small package, and I'm glad I introduced her to Drew so we can get the proper training a real man can give

Bones, don't blame Mrs Bones - she could only hold out so long.  I mean, look at me!  You've tried to put the moves on me yourself, so you can imagine how hard it was for her to resist my dead sexy charm and ruggedly handsome face.  Once she got a look at "the goods", it was all over!

Well, mine comes from the band Motley Crue, back when they had just released "Shout At The Devil", I thought that was the coolest back then, their mascot that they used to put everywhere was named Allister Fiend so I started using it back in my Commodore 64 days when I got my first blazingly fast 300 baud modem, I've been using it ever since because it was always available whenever I signed up for access.  Of course I have never really liked a Motley Crue album since "Shout At The Devil" but I've stuck with the name.

Man, it's good to see some fellow Commodore users on here, the C64 and the Commodore AMIGA were awsome for their time.

My username is a combination of a funny situation between my friends which wouldn't make much sense to anyone else AND the name of a song my group of friends liked.  It actually started out as a small joke with an AIM name, but then I just used it everywhere.  It's kinda stuck ever since.

I used to live in Jackson NJ.  It was considered Rural NJ, if there was such a thing.

One day, someone said there are so many rednecks in Jackson, they should call it Jacktucky.

Since I didn't see that many rednecks, or I was one, I took it as a compliment.

Now since I live in Southern Indiana, I see LOTS of rednecks  ;D, and I'm in kentucky all the time.

My favorite movie is Hackers, I'm sure you've all seen it...  When I tried to make my very first email address crashoveride @ hotmail . com it gave me a bunch of suggestions and I picked this one.  It was then my second email address when hotmail was so full of junk that I couldn't stand it anymore then my AIM etc...  Now it's the username I use everywhere I go as long as it's got enough letters and doesn't require numbers.

And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Petite : Small

Morte : Death

PetitMorte = The little death.  This is also slang for an incredible orgasm.

I've been using this for YEARS online... in IRC, Half-Life Team Fortress, Quake 2 and 3, Unreal Tournament, HL Natural Selection, and on countless forums, and have never encountered anyone else using this nick.

It's my last name spelled backwards. I always thought it sounded like the name for some weird mythical arcade game creature... maybe from a SEGA game?

This and the other EE are the only two forums that I use this handle. It's dave4026 or 40261 everywhere else.

My nickname.  My full name is Raymond "Luxury" Yacht.  This is only how it's spelled though.  It is actually pronounced "Throatwobbler Mangrove."

I was given this nickname by Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson - who in fact, only has one shed. ;D

this thread has probably been done before?

I see alot of ppls usernames, and im wondering wtf does that mean?

Acctually i don't think it has.

Some guys like DK and others i won't name like to come off as witty without really giving too much info as far as a username, as for me, my name is tommy, nice to meet you and good topic.

Don't get me wrong, DK is a fantabulous guy in my book.  8)

Clanggedin is short for "Clanggedin Silverbeard".

Clanggedin is the dwarven god of battle, it is he who taught the Dwarves how to fight and taught them the techniques to combat Giants.

I was a big AD&D fan back in the good ol' days when Rogue was the best computer game available on DOS. I only started using it a few years ago as a forum name. I used to go by the name"Drax the Dextroyer" when I only frequented the submission fighting boards. I still go by that on MMA.tv today.

What's funny is that if you do a search for "Clanggedin" in Google my profile here is the first link.  ;D

While in college a group of friends were heading out to go shooting,
(redneck pastime) and I could not go due to other obligations.  Well they
decided that I wuss-ed out and was scared to go shoot the 44mag.
Unfortunately for me the cartoon Garfield and friends was on and the
duck on US Acres segment on.  If any of you have watched the cartoon
Wade duck is afraid of his own shadow.  Well I have since been called Wade
by that group of college friends.  Scary part is that on the next trip I was one
of the only ones to shoot the 44Mag with the +P+ loads in it.

I know it is not as good as some stories but ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- happens.

mines somewhat convoluted, but logical. my DJ name for the last 9 years is 'dj natty' started from the long dreadlocks i had when i first started djing, then as time when on the name got b@stardized into 'gnateye' phoenetically the same word with different spellings. after i cut all my dreads off i started a record label called 'fiyawoka records' which is where the symbol that is my avatar came from....

not super exciting, sadly

Proper capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse, and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

I used to use Vigo when I belonged to other forums, but now that I recently found an online home here at BYOAC as my source for the answers to life, the universe, and everything...I can't help but plug out a few hints of my little arcade project which will be unveiled soon.

Maybe when my project winds down to a finish, I will switch back to a Vigo Avatar, but if I take as long as some of the people here at BYOAC on finishing projects, It might be a while before I can make the Avatar switch.

so you're not vigo mortensen then?
Vigo Mortensen and I, we are only alike in physical appearance. :P

I, like many Americans do not recieve enough exposure to entertainment outside our country. It's a shame that there are brilliant actors and comedians that remain commonly unnoticed in the US. I do my best to expose myself to these things, but I haven't seen nearly enough of Adrian's works....shame really.... :-\ Public Broadcasting shows some bbc stuff, but otherwise I have to look hard for anything else.  :'(
