I finished my control panel today. Put the hinges on and then installed all the buttons. I wired up my DC controller hack and everything works... sort of.
The joysticks are defective. I thought they where the moment I saw them, and tonight I confirmed it

The little nob on the bottom that the stick goes through is to short. When I push the stick the nob goes UNDER the switch and doesn't click it, thusly the joystick only partially works and is unplayable.
Im not talking about the joystick being to short, it isn't. I mean the actual little nob thing that is part of the bottom half of the joystick component.
Does anyone know how I can fix this. I will be eternally gratefull if you do.
