There's been some discussion elsewhere on this forum about these somewhat forgotten joysticks:
Suzo has a joystick that, like the Happ P360, doesn't have microswitches or leafs. Where the P360 works with optical technology, the Suzo uses inductive technology.
Bottomline is that they should offer a great feel of gameplay, without clicking noise and no mechanical wear. And (as I hope) with the typical short and precise Suzo throw and travel.
They are 4-8 way switchable and can replace any joystick without a problem and of course can be used in all cabinets, as long as you supply it with +5V.
I have NOT yet played one so I cannot tell any experiences with it, but if we can get some number of people interested in buying these, I can get a better price on them. Expect them at a much better price then the Regular P360 price.
Remember I have to ship from Europe.
So please let me know if you are interested and how many you would like.
The ball top is 32 mm. There is a very limited number of 38 mm ball tops available.
Here's what Suzo says about them:
The Universal Inductive Conductor
This is a full electronic joystick and works according to the inductive system. No contacts, no micro switches, only a PCB inside. Joystick is universal 4 and 8 way and can be adjusted by potentiometer.
The Universal Inductive Control is operating at a minimum of 4,75 VDC and a maximum of 5,25VDC.
Power consumption: max. 50mA.
Contact angles adjustable: 4 and 8 way directions.
