Ordering parts, am I missing something ?
« on: August 12, 2005, 10:22:32 am »
First, sorry that I seem to spam the forum lately with all my questions but you guys have been of great help so im using you as my best tool :)

Ok im probably doing my last orders for whatever im missing for my cab. I already have my buttons parts including a wrench and my 2 8-way joysticks.

Here is what I think should be the only parts left to order. Tell me if im missing something.

from Ultimarc:
- I-Pac 4 = 65$
- suzo/euro stick for my 4-way = 14$
-wiring kit ? = 19$

from Ponyboy/Happ:
- T-molding (how many feet should be enough/safe ?) = ?
- Happ usb/ps2 trackball = 80$
- Happ trackball mounting kit = 11.95$

I am not putting a spinner in. And is it good to get a wiring kit such as the one from ultimarc ? Is there any less expensive ? I think getting one should be good as everything I need to wire the CP should be there...

I want to save on shipping so if 2 orders max can be done that would be good.

Any toughts ? Missing something ?

T-moulding length in general can be anywhere form 20' to 40 ft(yes, I have used 40' on a cab before)

i would recomend the wiring kit, because it contains many colors, it will be easier to identify them incase of a problem, and you get a bunch of disconnects to use instead of solder.

When I contacted ponyboy, he said he usually steers clear from T-molding.  You may have already talked to him about that, but if not, you might want to consider getting your T-molding from T-molding.com or one of the other places that carry it (DreamArcades, GGG, etc)
