Is the fat rough edge just excess material on the proofs that gets cut off later?

They'll look like the edge of a normal coin right? and fit a .984 mech. I ordered my mechs around these tokens.

so pixel, how good does it feel to see your artwork imortalized in brass and nickel? and having your artwork included in three sets of coins? man, your cab sure is gonna be a DIY cab, "look, i even minted my own design on my tokens...".

then again, you'll have to finish your cab before you can say that.

really, the suspense is killing me. the biggest part is the fact that updates keep coming but none are to tell me that my tokens are coming. not like updates are bad, just nerve racking. i can't wait. it's like its christmas already.

why am i so impatient? i don't even have a cabinet to use them in...

I ordered a 200 Mix (100 Nickel/100 Brass).
Should I expect the brass soon?
Or should I expect to wait until nickel is also done and they will come packaged together?

Thanks for making the coins Santoro. I can't wait to adjust my coin mech so it will take them.

My wife advises me that Nickel arrived today. Unfortunately I am in Virginia at corporate HQ in training so I can't take pictures. Mrs. Santoro is counting tonight, shipping should start Thursday.

Hey, she's the office manager for this endeavor. She hates when I get involved with all the counting and packing because it screws up 'her system.' I even registered her a name here (Mrs. Santoro) but I don't think she dares stray into geek-land with the rest of us here.

got mine today. brass only. holy crap they are nice. I was worried about the small font, but it kinda gives the tokens a slightly worn look which I much prefer over the shiny nickel ones I got last time. these feel just like the tokens I remember as a kid from aladdin's castle.

Can someone who has recieved theirs post a pic next to come currency that we recognise? I just want to get an idea of the size.

.984" is pretty close the size of a Canadian dollar coin. A "loonie" is slightly larger than 1"... by a very small fraction; where .984 should be only slightly smaller.

It will help to placate me until my nickel order arrives next week some time (hopefully).
