What's the ballpark for 200 Brass or 500 Brass with shipping?
also how big and thick is the token compared to quarters?
I just use 2 pieces of trimmed cardstock as chutes......this allows any coin to pass and register a credit.

It's all part of the original feel for me. I've considered your route, though.

I placed my pre-order: 100/100 split or whatever.
I'd go with the brass folks, nickel is a carcinogen. Happy MAMEing.
any idea how soon will the pre ordeing be done?
or how close we are to ordering nickel
Quote from: pointdablame on August 19, 2005, 02:34:27 pmor how close we are to ordering nickelVery close - keep those orders coming folks. I am 5-6 orders away from break-even on ordering BOTH 10,000 Brass AND 10,000 nickel.
SantoroIm in Oz and love the idea of tokens, only one cab but the kids might like it, however 200 to much for me, whats the chance of 50/50, if you cant no worries, if you can, consider this a pre order and i cant wait to pay.ThanksStep
ummm i have a question.... after preorder is done, is it possible to order some more tokens?how long will you be still selling 2005 tokens?
I swear I answered this yesterday, stupid user error I guess.I have broken even on ordering both metals so we will do both. I will submit the order as soon as Pixelhugger is done cleaning up the art files for the mint.

I know you make an extremely slight profit, (a good thing), I'm just wondering if that means that ordering new sets closes soon.
... arcade builders could someday rule the world...currency would be reduced to quarters only, and wars would be settled
well, i'll try to keep patiently waiting.
i'm so glad we went with pixel's artwork.
Sorry for the banwidth-hogging pics.
My wife advises me that Nickel arrived today. Unfortunately I am in Virginia at corporate HQ in training so I can't take pictures. Mrs. Santoro is counting tonight, shipping should start Thursday.
Hey, she's the office manager for this endeavor. She hates when I get involved with all the counting and packing because it screws up 'her system.' I even registered her a name here (Mrs. Santoro) but I don't think she dares stray into geek-land with the rest of us here.

I can hardly believe it but we are almost out of Nickel. I know I said that these would be available for months, it certainly seems I was wrong. I have some left, but I took them off the website so I didn't get too many orders. PM me if you want Nickel tokens. As soon as I know how many I have left I will allocate them in order of recieved PMs. I will work out the paypal details with the winners via PM.
I had marked the site as sold out until I figured out how many are available.
Hey Santoro did you send mine out? I am locked out of my yahoo account.
After opening my token package I started thinking about all the time it must take to count these out, bag them, wrap them in protective newspaper, seal the pack and then put them in mailers and safety tape the envelopes. Dave I know you're not making much (if anything) on these tokens, so I just wanted to publicly say:Thank you very much for doing this for the BYOAC communityI really appreciate your efforts in putting together the design contest, dealing with the mint, putting together an E-commerce site and fulfilling these orders. You have my deepest appreciation.
Brass is officially sold out. (all orders entered up till now will be filled.)Dave
SOLD OUT.Thanks all for your orders. It was a good year.
Time for 2006 token art submissions.
