Really nice.  What did you print the CP overlay on (and where).  Are you getting spots around the buttons where it looks like it's sticking to the plexi?  Like watermarks or something.  I ask because I've seen on other threads where people are having that problem when printing on vinyl, or glossy from Kinkos.  I'm having the same problem over paint.  Thanks---DrJ

Just let the t-molding go man!  I promise, in a few weeks, you'll never notice (I'm a perfectionist too!

Since I try to rebuild a classicstyle 80's cab, every scratch I accidently add just makes it more authentic. With this method I still can be an perfectionist without driving mad with this!  ;D (yep, I'll join the club!)
Hardest part was drilling the pinball-buttons on the side, nearly scratched the side with it. :o

You expect us to believe thats a real cab madtk? its a very good Photoshop enhanced CGI Rendered picture, if you all look at the 2nd, 4th and 6th buttons closley you will see a small artifact and if you zoom into it carefully you will see the words "JUST KIDDING".

Its a great Cab madtk and the artwork is perfect.

This is my "dual" cabinet setup.  It's way better than trying to crowd 4 people around 1 machine!

Don't want to steal the thread but...

Are those arcade monitors? How are you driving dual arcade monitors if they are. I have a two monitor sitdown I want to Mame so any hints would be great.

It's running dual 25" WG-K71XX monitors, via ArcadeOS & AdvanceMAME.  Right now I route the video from an ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP through a standard PC2Jamma 4066-based video switch, then split it with a Y-cable.  The K7000's will accept these voltage levels just fine, you just have to turn up the contrast.

Example  Here it's "The Dollar Store" there it's "Dollar Tree"  wtf?  Ok even wierder... now all of the new dollar stores in this area are called Dollar Tree but if you go to OH all of newly opened Dollar Stores are Called The Dollar Store.  These are the same companys as the logo looks the same.

I'm from NC but am now in CA. In NC we had 'Hellman's' mayonaise. Here in CA we have 'Best Foods' mayonaise. Exact same label with different name. Even says on the label something like "Known as Hellman's west of the Mississippi". Weird.

I live in ohio and we call it Hellman's.  What happened to madk?  I desperately want to hear more about this awesome cab!

Yeah apparently the images are no longer hosted.  I found another thread by MadK with one early shot:

http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=9506;start=msg70495#msg70495

Love to see more, MadK!

I am still alive and kicking.  My cousin must have deleted my pics since they were being hosted by him.  PM me if you would like any pics or info.  I've been really busy lately with work and restoring a Red Alert and Time Killers cab.

Thanks for bumping my old thread! :)

well, the CP looks like a typical layout, but that art is awesome.
i am a SF nut, and i would love to put some good art on my cab, but on the other hand i would have an impossible time trying to decide what to go with. im one those that 'sees the good in all' and can never decide :(.
im probly gonna end up with a solid color cab with a SF marguee. at least it will be something
