I managed to locate an original Ultracade marquee.

Its going on my Mame cabinet.

Insert evil laugh here!!!!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6181707730

I don't need the others that were in the lot.

Golden Tee 2003 Fore (3 of them).
Wizard Fire
Legion

Anyone need them?

Oh, I am SO putting it on my machine if it fits. I'm not SELLING my machine, but I'll put the marquee on there. I just think it is ironic and funny to do so.

I think you should scan it, and upload it to the Vector library for all to use... :)

It would probably not be a great idea to give that guy a legal reason to go after the Vector Art Library.

Of course, if it were hosted somewhere else...

1. Remove all style from current machine, etc, etc.

Ok, I got it in today, it was a PERFECT FIT for my cabinet, only had to trim a half inch on the sides, the height was perfect. I got lucky with the size as the marquee area of my cabinet combines tall and wide in a way that makes most original marquees not fit.

The Golden Tee marquees are in fine shape. Does $8 each (shipped), sound fine for those who were interested? Marquee number one and two have been purchased by American Demon and Chris. Walls83 has a day or so to pay or decline the last one, otherwise it will be available.

Thats the fun thing, my marquee is completely legal, it is an original marquee purchased from an operator who converted his poorly earning Ultracade!!!!

I plan on setting one up, just need to download the latest Ultrastyle and then cut down the rom list to a manageable number (last I checked Ultrastyle SUCKED with big gamelists).

Makes no sense to me.  You folks hate the guy and yet give him play.  Every complaint only gives him that much more power, and putting that marquee on a decent cab only lowers a project you worked hard to complete.

Take it outside, piss on it, and be finished.

Ok, I got it in today, it was a PERFECT FIT for my cabinet, only had to trim a half inch on the sides, the height was perfect. I got lucky with the size as the marquee area of my cabinet combines tall and wide in a way that makes most original marquees not fit.
You mean you ruined a classic marquee by trimming it  :o
that's one less marquee for the collectors out there ::)

All 3 Golden Tee marquees were shipped to their respective buyers today.

Here is a picture I took especially for all my lawyer friends.

Mame (Trademark Mamedev), Cabinet (probably Trademark Mameroom.com), running the unreleased game "Homercide" (TM Dave Widel), which is a variant of PacMan (TM Namco), which runs on Midway (TM WMS Gaming) hardware and features characters from "The Simpsons" (TM 20th Century Fox), and there is a bootleg Space Pilot board (illegal copy of Time Pilot, TM Konami) sitting there next to it just for fun and the whole thing has an Ultracade (TM Ultracade.com) marquee on it.

See how rediculous it is to have to mention a trademark every time you say the word?

EDIT:  what is homercide?  Unreleased obviously.. but I've never heard of it. Was it just Pac with Simpsons characters??  I'd love some more info :)

It is a major reworking of Pac-Man, more than just Simpsons characters. Most complex Pac-Variant I have ever played. The rom will be released soon, and the game will be on the upcoming Mad-Pac multi-pac kit.

Better hit up that seller fast for the side art.  He has MAME in the subject heading... so its bound to get pulled.

I already bid, and got outbid. I don't want to mess my cabinet up enough to raise my bid again.
