Moving fully working cab
«

I just bought a fully working arcade cab off ebay. I was wondering if it would be okay to lay it down in the bed of my truck or should i just leave it sitting upright. It is a full size upright cab.
Thanks

Lay it down, just make sure everything inside is secure first. (Make sure monitor is bolted down, and the boards and power supply are secure).
Only stand them up if you have to for space reasons, they transport much better on their backs.

Also remember... Sometimes the CRT are not screwed in (and stay in with gravity). Heard of people moving their new cab... and the crt pops out and fall down... boom

OMG where was this forum back in 89 when i bought my zaxxon at auction and we tipped it over and ...of course PCB wasnt mounted....
it didnt like that at all..
if only i had checked to see what was mounted and what wasnt...
sigh...
needless to say at 17, internet not being what it is now and not knowing crud about arcade machines, it didnt recover.
thanks for bringing back the horrible horrible memories.....
