The Happs foam monitor bezel is HORRIBLE. It's like that blackish/grayish packaging foam that they often use in pc peripheral boxes.
I used black posterboard from my local art store to cut out a custom bezel.. Fits perfect and looks great. It took a bit of time to get it to fit the curve of the monitor, but everything seems to take time on these cab projects.
I cut regular white paper into small rectangles, and just kept taping them together (against the screen) to match the curve, then traced this onto the posterboard. The key is to buy a huge piece of poster board, and trace all four sides connected. This way the bezel supports itself when cut out, and you only have to tape it shut on one corner. I used another piece of posterboard to cut out the flat square part that you'd tape to the glass. That was the easy part.
