I've had a good search but can't find an answer to this specific question.....
My cab PC case is too big to fit inside. Therefore I'm planning on stripping the case of MB, poswer supply, CD drive and HD and placing them in seperately. I've measured everything up and all will fit no problems.
However, a friend of mine said there could be trouble earthing the MB and other components. I was going to remove the MB and screw it to a wood panel in the cab using PCB feet (just like the ones supplied by Ultimarc for their J-Pacs etc.) The CD drive I was going to attach by using velcro. Same thing with the HD but keeping the HD in it's case frame as it generates a lot of heat and could goo up the adhesive on the velcro if attached directly. I think I can make a hole in the back of the cabinet for the power supply so i can plug the power lead straight intto the back just like the cab power lead does
Any thoughts on this?
