What do you mean "cashbox"?
If you're refering to one of those slots that you put bills in more commonly knows as a validator, they operate by sending pulses based on what currency is inserted. For example a 1 dolar bill would send 4 pulses, 1 for each quarter.
Feel free to <auto-censored> slap me if I'm telling you something you already know and you're refering to something completly different!
yes yes
, this is what i want to know
and does it operate with ultimarc i-pac ?
If you are wanting to go into actual business making actual arcade games then this IS NOT the forum for you. You are going to need to actually research this stuff on your own.
I-Pacs and J-Pacs are nice, but realize that there is an entirely different class of this stuff made for commercial environments. In fact there is a whole class of computers and a whole class of operating systems designed for such an environment.
Also realize that you are going to need a minimum of a quarter million dollars to even think about producing a game yourself, and also be aware that the industry has been dying for DECADES and almost no distributors are going to be willing to order any games from an unknown basement operation.
So basically, you are going to need to do a ton of research, spend a ton of money, which you will lose.
In all reality you are going to need a heck of a lot more money than that. A quarter million is just a quick number to basically represent just the cheapest possible production costs on the first 100 units. You will also need to spend a small fortune pimping your game at the industry shows and producing and sending out flyers for it. You are going to need a building, you are going to need spare parts. Like I said earlier, distributors aren't going to order games out of some guy's basement.
