You have to read this. If it was April 1st I would think this is a joke.

this is no joke  :(

its just sad..thats how $hit work in greece.

did you know there is NO police in that county.so if you wanna beat someone up,you can do freely i guess.
(PLEASE dont hurt me ! ).

Canada has this dumb rule too.if you are under 18 and some places 16.then you cant get in an arcade.so if you wanna play some games then you gotta be like an adult.

or bring your mom or dad  >:(

VERY VERY FUNNY in my opinion.

WOW.  How ass-backwards can a government be if it is "incapable of distinguishing innocuous video games from illegal gambling machines"?  Seems pretty clear-cut: if there's the possibility of a payout, it's a gambling machine; if not, it's a video game.  Also, if there's a handle on the side, the game requires you to endlessly insert cash after each button press, or the game requires absolutely no skill or thought, these are all good indications you're not playing a harmless game of Pac-Man.  DUMB.  >:(

BTW, I'm not really a gambling man (I usually spend more on food, arcades, and souvenirs in Vegas than on gambling), but I'm not sure why gambling machines should necessarily be considered evil.  At least you do get some money back once in awhile.  Then again, I've never blown $200 at once at an arcade (even at Gameworks!)  Hmm, remind me again why I'm putting so much cash (plus blood, sweat and tears) into a home machine that supposedly lets me play for free?  :'(

Not true in this part of Canada (Alberta).   You can freely use an arcade but NOT DURING SCHOOL HOURS.   You only have to be an adult when the kids are in school.   After 3:15 or 3:30 it is open to anyone.

Just a clarification... We are not totally backwards up here.

As someone from SA said: Game devlopers will love this.  By outlawing all gaming, the Greek government is making Greece a 100% pirate-only zone.  Smart!

This is absolutely true. Also anyone that doubts they would actually imprison someone for playing games needs to be aware of the issue a few months ago when a group of English tourists were thrown into jail for several weeks for looking at planes at an airport with binoculars!

What somepeople are now worried about is traveling with their kids... and having them pull out a game boy!

this can get the parents sent to jail and the kids taken away!

YEah... it's a joke... borrowed from Dennis Miller.   his joke went like this, "I was recently in Greece, Actually Grease 2"

*Shrug*  whenever I hear "Greece" I think "grease 2" it's a homynim joke I gues...
