WOW. How ass-backwards can a government
be if it is "incapable of distinguishing innocuous video games from illegal gambling machines"? Seems pretty clear-cut: if there's the possibility of a payout, it's a gambling machine; if not, it's a video game. Also, if there's a handle on the side, the game requires you to endlessly insert cash after each button press, or the game requires absolutely no skill or thought, these are all good indications you're not playing a harmless game of Pac-Man. DUMB.

BTW, I'm not really a gambling man (I usually spend more on food, arcades, and souvenirs in Vegas than on gambling), but I'm not sure why gambling machines should necessarily be considered evil. At least you do get some money back once in awhile. Then again, I've never blown $200 at once at an arcade (even at Gameworks!) Hmm, remind me again why I'm putting so much cash (plus blood, sweat and tears) into a home machine that supposedly lets me play for free?
