It looks like I'll be shooting up just for the day by myself because I've got plans early sunday morning.

If the weather is nice I'll be taking my motorcycle (02 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100) so I won't be able to fit my Bartop machine on the back.  ;)

If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Ed,

Count me and Rae in. Let me know what I can bring (food-wise). We'll be staying the night at the Comfort Inn in Concord. Exit 13 off 93. About 30min. away.

Looking forward to hanging out again.

Just a reminder:

Two more days!

Don't forget your Funspot coupons and if you print them from the web, remember to "cut them out". They won't take them otherwise.

Peace!

There's a 50% chance Erin will be coming with me.

Noon is probably better, it will give us an extra hour before the mosquitos come out to eat us at the cook out...

We should set a start and finish time, that way we know how to ration our tokens.  Say 12-3?  I don't remember how long we were there last time.

Ed: do you have a contact # in case someone gets lost?  Plus if someone is late we won't have to wait a 1/2 for them to arrive   ;)

Ok I just got off the phone with Dave (mr.C) so he should be there at noon.

If for some reason you don't make it by noon don't worry . I'll probably be under the tent waiting til 12:30 and if for some reason it's after 12:30 you can check the classics area for me I have short spiked hair,  I have a sunburn on my face a big nose , so you may even say it glows(like a light bulb). The last and most important detail I will be wearing an O'NEILL t-shirt it's navy blue white lettering on the back and light blue lettering on the front. don't be shy come up and introduce yourself.

I'll check the board tomorrow morning before I leave just to make sure everythings good with everyone.

See ya Sat  at noon under the tent

Signed
Ed

We should be there at noon (myself, Jen and Roisin). Looking forward to playing those games that were 'tournament only' last time! Jen's pasta salad has been prepared and looks just as colorful as the last one  :D

Hopefully the stormy weather stays away.

Well, we ended up getting there ~1:30.  We stopped to get lunch, and that put us off by about 45 minutes.

I looked *everywhere* for you guys!  I was especially looking for Ed in his "O'Neil" shirt and big nose.  I was even asking guys 'you with arcadecontrols?'

I couldn't find your cell, Ed.  Likely could have found you in ten seconds if I had the number.

Curses!

Friggin hell, that sucks!  We were all wondering if you had gotten there or not.  My GF Lee-Ann was saying that she saw someone with twin boys in red jackets and we were wondering if that was you but none of us could pick them out of the crowd again!

We had this great plan to look arround for someone with twins and just shout "Arthur" into the general public to see if anyone would respond...  Apparently no one fit the bill though.

Maybe next time...

[edit] looking back on the rest of this topic, I don't see anything about you having twins, but Lee-Ann said she saw it somewhere...[/edit]

No, I don't have twins.  I've got two boys, ages 4 and 2.

http://www.pealefamily.net/gallery/

And we separated when we got there, joining up occasionally.

I didn't play many games, unfortunately.  Next time we go, we're leaving the kids with a sitter.

There was an accident on the highway and after going only 14 miles in an hour and a half I turned around.  :(

Yeah, we were stuck there also. I think we were between exits 3 and 4 for about 2 hours before traffic started moving. If we hadn't had our hotel room all paid for I think we might have turned around too.

I'm glad we didn't though - everyone had a great time again! We stayed around Weirs Beach on Sunday and checked out some of the little old arcades around the promenade too; I put a quarter in an old fortune teller machine and wished I was big, but I didn't wake up today looking like Tom Hanks (thank god!).

Doh'  I turned around at exit 3.  I almost tried to go back up at 2pm but I thought everyone would already be gone.  I guess next time we'll have to be a little more organized, (multiple phone #'s and a back up meeting time/location)

Must say I did post the wrong number at first ...then I posted the right one 2 hours later so I am to blame for that.

Peale..... sorry we missed you I was there until 2:15  then left to pick up the food ...I got stuck in traffic jam as well and I actually  didn't get to funsot on time either. I got there  somewhere between 12:30 - 12:45.

Yes next time will have to be more organized the question is ...When is next time

All of you guys/gals will always be welcome to hitch a ride with me for future events (I'm sure Ed feels the same way too). I don't mind picking up local people, and for the city folk, there's a commuter train that comes right to my town (Lowell) from Boston.

crashwg,

I'd quote you, but I think the additional smilies would crash the internet.

Sucks about the car. I'm about to sink $800+ I can't afford, into drastically needed new tires/shocks for mine. ouch. All I can think about is all the computer equipment I could get for that.
