Joystick issues
« on: April 24, 2004, 07:57:43 pm »
Please I need help.  I just got two new T-Stik Plus joysticks for my cabinet.  I figured this should be an easy swap.  But for some reason.  My stick gets stuck on up when I test it in the IPAC config utility.  What gives?  Must be some wiring issue, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks

CthulhuLuke

triple check your grounding wires, and make sure that A: you don't have one of the wires on Up connected to NC instead of NO, and the two wires (ground and NO) are not touching in any way.

I bet you have the wrong terminals wired, you wire the outside tabs of that joysticks microswitches not the middle one. I made the same mistake!

Thanks guys.  This thing was bugging me.  Everything else worked but the joystick.  It was the switch of the NO and NC.
