HELLO,
I really want my side art, cp marquee etc to look very similar to this

but instead of mame somthing like DEMONCADE and a DEMON or dragon or something like that..... I like the blue look.. anyone make this sort of thing for me? I am willing to pay.

I really want it to have same look etc.. just instead of MAME a cool DEMONCADE logo..... instead of MAME..maybe some alterations to the CP too, so that it fits my cabinet.and with some minor alterations to the layout and titles on the cp.

I'd like to see it. I want the same thing designed. I already have my control panel done in Visio. I have a different background image i want to use but would like to have the grid and controls labelled in Illustrator or Photoshop.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay. I've been on set and haven't checked my email. Gamenotover wasn't very helpful (he wanted to finish his first understandably). I contacted the artist, but I never heard from him. Basically the background is the same. I made some color adjustments and added some more detail to the explosion in the center. I gave it a new font style and location and most noticably I added two more players.

Yeah as said above I want to finish my own cabinet first before releasing all the source files. But once I do complete I'll be posting all the files on my site for free download, so just be careful if your considering paying for this type of artwork.

Also regarding background imagine I used this after getting the artists permission where I also said it would be for a non-profitable project, if anyone is thinking of charging for artwork featuring work from someone else they should be aware of the legalities involved.

Not as simple as that, most of my PC kit (as well as my arcade bits, artwork files etc) is in storage at the moment. But had some good news last week on my house move so hopefully this project will be up and running again real soon.

Im also one of the guys who bombarded You with PMs/Mails. I didnt get a reply, but hey I can live with rejections.

I couldnt wait anymore and startet building my cab based on Lusids plans. Once assembled it wont fit into my appartment (live in an old house with VERY small doors) so I will have to assemble it somehow in my room (and disassemble it if I move out). So it would have been very cool to build Your 2-part-cabinet.

I hope You get Your movement/whatever -stuff done without any more trouble. Good luck!

I'm still waiting, as I'm decided to go with a UAII style cabinet as well for moving purposes. I want to complete my control panel first so I need to get the artwork done right.

Khindawe, what mail address were you using? I reply to the majority of arcade related mails I get, the only ones i haven't have been the really impolite ones (not saying yours were).

Cheers, wish I could speed things up, I originally wanted to be moved before xmas 2003, if I had known it was gonna be this long I would have left the arcade stuff out so I could continue with it. Although I have been working on some other plans which I may unveil either later today or tomorrow.

GSXRMovistar, your artwork is the most incredible I have seen. I was wondering if you would be willing to share it. It would be a great in spiration for some of us to finish our cabs. I have been waiting for something nice like this for my cab about 2 years. Glad to hear you will soon release it to us that are graphically challenged. Thank you.

I got the background picked out, somewhat designed the layout in visio. tried to add a grid to my artwork and realized, I just can't do it..and still haven't figured out layers in photoshop let alone drawing lines in Illustrator.

Why would you revive this thread?! I remember this thread. I offered to make the guy cp, side, and marquee layouts for like $100. I should have listened to SNAAAKE, he offered him before hand but there was just no pleasing the guy. In the end the marquee and all he used was just crap!!! Thanx.
