1/2 size Cabinet?
« on: February 20, 2004, 07:09:04 am »
Just curious all, I was wondering if anyone's had any experience building a relatively small cab, about half as tall as more traditional ones. I'm pretty pressed for space here, so this is definetely my only option.

On a side note, I'm relatively new to arcade emulation, but no stranger to arcade games. Nearly the second I stumbled across Mame I knew I had to build my own cab. I've been continually impressed over the last few weeks by all the work thats been done by so many people and how much information is out there to help people get started. The guts of my machine are all hooked up and working great thanks to a lot of that info...just need to cook up a cab. :P

Anyhow, if anyone has any pointers, I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks!

Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

I'm working on one at the moment... This weekend I'll be priming and painting. Hopefully if my vinyl arrives from Happ I'll be able to finish the cab this weekend.

You guys rock. Hard.
Apologies for spamming up the boards with an already-answered question though.  :P
