Ipac Ultimate I/O and Goldleaf Buttons
« on: July 20, 2020, 10:39:39 am »
Sorry, I've got another quick question before I order some parts. If I want to use Goldleaf buttons, and select the harness type for 2.8mm switch connectors, will all of these buttons be wired for Goldleaf buttons?

The reason I ask is for player start and coin buttons, and whether I need to order all Goldleaf buttons to be compatible with that wiring harness.

Also, what are 1A/1B/2A/2B used for? Could I use these for pinball flippers?

Just checked my one as I do not have coin/start wired in yet, looking at the connections I have left I do have some larger spade connections. So it looks like the Coin/start are wired with the larger spade :)

Thanks for the information! So I should get a set of four classic pushbuttons? And can I use those 1A/1B/1B/2B for extra buttons?

The 1A/B and 2A/B can pretty much be assigned to anything, normally used for Admin buttons like escape, They don't have a specific function or default mame setup :) They will want to be connected to goldleafs though as use the smaller spade connector.

Good to know, thanks!
