  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
windows 10 resolution on a 15khz cab
« on: December 29, 2019, 01:21:37 pm »
I have for  now tried several times to upgrade my windows 7 x64 cab into a windows 10, however since my ati card only displays at 15khz, as soon as windows restarts after downloading and the automatic setup, the screen starts to flickr as w10 uses a default higher resolution not supported by my arcade monitor (a sega blast city)

How do you guys go through the windows 10 installation process in such conditions?
Tried ctrol+f8 to enter safe mode but did not make any difference.

Thanks a lot!

Sometimes you need a 31 kHz PC monitor around for this situations. You plug it when required, fix things, and switch back to the arcade monitor.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
