DIY Spinner

Started working on a arcade spinner.

Consist of 4 3d-printed parts and will support illumination when printed in translucent material.
Additional to the printed parts it needs a ballbearing (22x8x7 mm), two optical sensors ITR9608 and an Arduino ProMicro for encoding and USB interface (will be recognized as mouse).

I'm still in the middle of development. Lets see where it ends.

Have you seen this DIY arcade spinner on Thingiverse using a rotary encoder?

Could eliminate the ballbearing and the optical sensors in one swoop.

Oh that's an interesting one.
Will try it out, but also continue with my design.
